Meet Casey Muze |Mental Health Speaker | Author | Drumming Expert | Mentor 63
We had the good fortune of connecting with Casey Muze and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Casey, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
In my industry, I am incredibly fortunate to possess a unique identity. To elaborate, I am unaware of any other individuals within my field who offer therapeutic services through the art of drumming, like I do. This remarkable circumstance fills me with gratitude, as it seems that a higher power has granted me the ability to foresee the importance of standing steadfastly on my own, without faltering.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Lately, I’ve had several discussions revolving around the statement, “All I do is write and play drums.” It’s been an incredibly peaceful journey for me, as I’ve realized that I have embarked on a lifelong path of serving others through holistic approaches rooted in the creative arts of writing and drumming. What’s truly remarkable about this is that it aligns with the very essence of creation mentioned in Genesis and biblical references.
Often, society tends to overlook the profound connection between spirituality and mental well-being, dismissing it in favor of the popular opinion of a chaotic 9 to 5 lifestyle. However, living a life centered around the creative works of God or one’s higher power shouldn’t be frowned upon. In fact, I find solace in dedicating all my time to drumming, writing, and nurturing my spiritual connection through creativity and leisure.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to? Enoch’s for coffee, wine, or fancy charcuterie boards, The Plaid Rabbit for drinks and the onion soup burger, Any of the random Yoga Studios, Prime 102
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to express my appreciation and recognition for Miss Laura Mazzotta from emerge, healing and wellness. Our paths crossed through social media shortly after I joined a new platform called Alignable. Miss Laura Mazzotta reached out to me via a Zoom conference, inviting me to contribute a chapter in a book she was curating.
Not only that, but she also played a significant role in the narration process. This book aims to showcase mental health providers and professionals from all over the United States and is set to be published in April. I am truly honored to have my work considered for such a prestigious endeavor.
I would like to express my gratitude to miss Laura DiFranco, who has played a pivotal role in shaping the contributions of every single metal provider featured in this book, Holistic Mental Health, volume two. Becoming a published writer and a recognized mental health provider is an achievement beyond my wildest dreams. To be acknowledged as a champion and warmly embraced in this field means that the work I have dedicated my life to is both flawless and guided by a God
